FROM THE CENTRAL RAILWAY STATION /
INTERNATIONAL BUS STATION

Walking
20 minutes: Take Hristo Botev (Христо Ботев) blvd, cross the bridge of Slivnitsa (Сливница) blvd and walk straight ahead to Makedonia Sq. Then follow the map. The entrance door is on the left side of "Post Bank" office which is just next to Caesar casino.

By public transport
10 minutes: First of all buy two tickets - 1.00 lev (0.50 Euro) each (one for you and one for your backpack) from the nearest newspaper kiosk or from the driver. Take tram 6, 9 or 12 direction to Makedonia sqr and immediately punch the two tickets. Get off at the fourth stop and follow the map.

By taxi
Before getting in a taxi always FIRST CHECK THE FARES! They must be displayed on the wind screen of the car. Reasonable fare is lower than 1.00 Leva per 1 Km. This way the total amount shouldn't be more than 8 Leva (4 Euro).

FROM THE AIRPORT

Walking
Too far & boring, not recommended!

By public transport
30-40 minutes: Make sure you have 2 tickets - one for you and one for your luggage (1,00 Lev each). The bus driver does not always sell tickets so you can buy them from the newspaper agents inside the airport. Get on the bus (no.84/284) to the city centre. Punch your tickets. Get off when you see Starbucks Coffee on your left and a park on your right (30-40 minutes). Take Gurko street and walk straight until you see McDonald’s on your left (10-15 minutes). Then keep going until you reach Makedonia square (5 minutes). You will see a Casino and a Post Bank, the hostel door is right after the bank.

By taxi
